Hello Reader, whom maybe Family or Family-Friend.
This is the first post of many to come about my YWAM journey. Before I enter the present let me write about the beginning of this process.
Summer 2007, a couple at the Glendora Vineyard spoke to me about YWAM and encouraged me to get on the road of YWAM. I did not go because college was something I wanted to try out and work on for a while. I completed my first year of college at MT. Sac but then YWAM crept back into my head. With these thoughts about YWAM I decided to apply to a YWAM station in Boston.
July 27, 2008 I put in my application to YWAM Boston. I had about three weeks to get the application in and it was a fast productive beginning. In August I called many time asking about when I will know the resulats of my acceptance, by the end of August finally a lady told me "Two weeks in to September we will be sending out acceptance packets". I accepted the notice and laied back for two weeks.
The end of the second week in September, I began to doubt my self in being accepted. I put to rest the idea of YWAM, thought maybe not this time but later in the future. I began plans for this year, heading out to Pasadena to live and help with the Oasis church. Do a tone more of art to sell and work my bottom off at college again. It was an exciting plan.
Second week of October, I am tired of thinking about YWAM's acceptance but I called YWAM to ask once again about the application. No pick up.
Then tuesday October 21st, I get a call from the lady at Boston. She tells me, I was accepted and sent a packet about the things to get prepared three weeks ago. We talked and hung up. She sent another packet and NOW I AM ACCEPTED TO BOSTON YWAM.
Present day I am seeking Jesus and asking for a lot of his help in fundraising. Its good and exciting but it will be a process that is in speed mode because January 13th will be when i leave.
I will write more detail about the application and YWAM Boston later this week. I wanted something up for you to read about my Journey so far.
Thank you for reading, hope you have a great day. BYE
